Sales Lead

As the Sales Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth within your territory while managing and mentoring a small team of Account Executives. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process, from pipeline management to closing deals, ensuring the effective use of our CRM, and leading efforts in hiring and firing as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Sales: Actively sell and close deals within your assigned territory. Travel to customer sites and conferences as needed.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives to meet and exceed sales targets. Manage employment lifecycle as the company continues to grow.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a healthy pipeline. Ensure team compliance.
- CRM Management: Maintain and optimize our CRM system to track sales performance, leads, and opportunities.
- Hiring and Onboarding: Recruit, hire, and onboard new Account Executives as needed to support business growth.
- Performance Management: Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and manage the team’s development.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to align efforts and support company growth.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in education sales in a leadership role. Previous experience as an educator preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required). Proficiency in a foreign language, or experience in ESL strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, people leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in Education.
- CRM Expertise: Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage the sales pipeline.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to build and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working in a tech-driven environment.
